Industrial bakery facility manufacturing technology and enterprise infrastructure architecture

Technology Setup from the Ground Up, Security Architecture and Operational Continuity

I built the project's technology environment from the ground up, starting with operational requirements, and managed it end to end. I addressed software and hardware infrastructure, server systems, data centers and data center operations alongside enterprise systems, technology investments and license management.

I designed the network and firewall architecture and security infrastructure in conjunction with information security, data security and cybersecurity requirements, and led implementation processes. I positioned security as a core component of the technology infrastructure and daily operations.

For operational continuity, I planned backup, disaster recovery (DR) scenarios and the restoration of critical systems following an interruption. I evaluated infrastructure decisions against continuity, manageability and long-term scalability objectives.

Project Scope

I designed the technology and enterprise infrastructure architecture of an approximately 40,000 m² industrial bakery facility, starting from the construction phase and extending through manufacturing, warehousing and corporate operations.

I planned data center infrastructure, server and storage architecture, enterprise networks, cybersecurity, manufacturing systems and ERP requirements together with the physical facility and operational model.

Approach

I planned the technology architecture before manufacturing operations began, reducing future intervention costs and operational risks while establishing a scalable foundation for the facility.

Production lines, technical areas, user environments, network requirements, cybersecurity, capacity growth and operational continuity were evaluated together as part of the architecture.

Enterprise Infrastructure & Business Continuity

I designed the infrastructure standards, data center and system environments, network architecture and enterprise technology requirements to support manufacturing and corporate operations.

The architecture included server and storage infrastructure, cybersecurity, replication, Disaster Recovery (DR), backup and recovery, ERP and business continuity, creating a resilient environment capable of supporting long-term operational requirements.

Project Scale & Outcomes

Construction PhaseTechnology architecture aligned with the physical facility before operations began
End-to-EndEnterprise infrastructure supporting manufacturing, warehousing and corporate operations
ResilientReplication, recovery and business continuity integrated into the architecture

My Role & Responsibility

I held responsibility for the technology architecture from the construction phase onward. I defined technology requirements, designed the physical and active infrastructure, established implementation standards, integrated ERP and manufacturing requirements, and managed the environment to support operational continuity.

The right technology architecture begins while the facility is still being built.
